Daniel F. Gerhartz

Daniel Gerhartz was born in 1965 in Kewaskum, Wisconsin where he now lives with his wife Jennifer and their three children.  He began his career as an artist as a teen when one of his friends suggested they spend the afternoon drawing together.  It was at that moment when he realized where his life would take him. 

Gerhartz' paintings convey honesty, integrity and directness to the viewer.  Gerhartz chooses subjects that allow him to explore and capture the artistic challenges of color, light, mood and emotion.  His work is inspired by Russian, European and American masters including Nicolai Fechin, John Singer Sargent, and Joaquin Sorolla.
